Upcoming Dissemination of Research Findings and Capacity Building Programme

In the month of January 2025 , the project team from Nepal and UK have planned a series of dissemination workshops in Karnali, Lumbini, Madhesh, Bagmati Provinces and a national level event in Kathmandu.

17th January - Karnali Province, Surkhet

18th January - Lumbini Province, Dang

21st January - Madhesh Province, Janakpur

22nd January- Bagmati Province, Hetauda

24th January- National Event at Ministry of Health and Population, Kathmandu

These workshops will be themed on Learning and Sharing of  Capacity Building Initiatives implemented by Nepal Federal Health System Project team in different municipalities of Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Madhesh provinces meeting major health system stakeholders in the province levels..  In this event, we plan to present and discuss the following:

1. Present the outcomes and insights from the Nepal Federal Health System Project and our initiatives on local-level capacity building, especially focusing on the Health Management Committees (HMCs) and Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs).

2. Present the evaluation of the programme conducted by external evaluators, providing a comprehensive assessment of its impact and sustainability.

3. Explore the potential for scaling up these initiatives leveraging the lessons learned and fostering collaborative partnerships.

This province-level and national level events aims to catalyse the role of central and province agencies in strenthening the local level health system competence.
