Renowned research scientist Dr. Pratik Adhikary brings to the HSRI team over a decade experience of researching, publishing and field work. Dr. Adhikary received his Master’s degree from the University of Aberdeen, UK. He then worked in the cardiac department in the NHS Grampian, UK. He then completed PhD degree from Bournemouth University, UK. Under the supervision of Prof. Edwin van Teijlingen and Dr. Steven Keen, he completed his PhD research on ‘‘Health Status of and Health Risks to Male Nepalese Migrants in the Middle East and Malaysia’’. Most recently, he completed his post-doctoral research under the mentorship of Prof. Art Reinggold, UC Berkeley USA and Prof. Dirgha Jibi Ghimire, ISER Nepal, where he has been planning to publish several papers.
